Challenge:
Xerocon is Xero’s larger-than-life conference for the accountants, bookkeepers, partners and small business owners who use the Xero software. Welcoming over 2,000 attendees to the Old Billingsgate at the Tobacco Dock, Xero wanted an after-party that captured the vibe of a summer festival. The identity needed to capture the essence of Xero and their brand, while corresponding with the activities of the evening including aerial performers, silent-discos, lawn games, croquet, and tarot card readers.

Solution:
To inspire the feelings of an outdoor summer festival, an identity was created that flipped the polished shapes of the Xero brand into custom-designed, organic illustrations and patterns that could be easily mixed together. To ensure brand consistency and recognition, the Xero brand colours were retained. The set of illustrations created a system that allowed for various unique combinations of designs to be created across all event signage including way finding, photo ops, and food and beverage decals.
