Challenge:
Content studio, HEVĒ was tasked to create a concept for an Old Spice advertisement, featuring NFL star, Amon-Ra St. Brown. The advertisement was to be featured in Sports Illustrated with the requirement to utilise a one-pager followed by a fold-out spread. With a tight turnaround and limited time, photos of Amon-Ra St. Brown had to be captured by a sports photographer from an alternate existing shoot and re-worked into the advertisement.
Solution:
The story of the advertisement proposed embraced the quirkiness of Old Spice advertisements, suggesting reporters kept their distance from the star player until Old Spice saved the day.
Given the turnaround, Photoshopping was used to warm the images and create the scene of the story proposed. Several layouts were also created to maximise the message and brand products.
